Get maximize benefits

If you plan for a credit card or already have one, then make sure that it yields you maximum benefits. The profits that you can reap through your card depend on the type of the card that you have. So it is best to choose a for a lifetime free credit card that does not have any annual charge. Also one should take a card depending on his lifestyle. For instance if you do a lot of shopping then choose a card that offers a lot of discounts and cash back rewards. On the other hand if you travel a lot then look for a credit card that gives you several travel friendly schemes on hotel stays, restaurant bills and airline tickets.

Interest rate

Often people fail to understand is that a credit card is not cash. They treat their credit cards as money and use them indiscriminately and this is the reason why many of us fall in a debt trap. It should be remembered that an interest rate charged on a credit card is much higher than the personal loan rates. Also cash withdrawal from ATMs using a credit card is another expensive practice. Banks charge a processing fee and also do not provide any credit free period for such facility, so you pay interest as soon as you withdraw. Although credit card cash withdrawal may be an easy way to tap resources but should not be encouraged unless it's an emergency.
