Fixed deposits in India: Benefits, drawbacks and precautions
Sir, i just want you to throw some light on my query, am having an amount of Rs.12 lakh now what i wish to do is give this amount to my relative so shall i get a fixed deposit of this amount in the name of that person or shall i give this amount directly as a gift. which way is suitable.

Sir,
I have deposited in F.D (SBI) ,an amount of 5 lakhs at an Interest rate of 8%.It is getting matured in 08/2011.The maturity amount is Rs.7,34,664/-.I find the interest is taxable.I have submitted my PAN No.If the interest is taxable, how how much amount will be deducted. How can i avoid TDS on maturity,PLs. advice,

sir i have deposited rs12 lakhs in unitech fixed deposit for 6 months.The maturity date is in the month of august.Can you please advise me should i withdraw the fd or to continue in the wake of rumors going around regd involvement of uninor in 2g scam?

Sir, I have 30 lac I am thinking it to fixed term deposit Ansal fix deposit sheme they are offering 12% intersrt per annum. should I spend money with ansal Housing and infrastructure or Should i deposit it in bank ??????

Sir, I want to do the fixed deposit of 30 lakh rupees in the bank (SBT), can you please inform me how much tax I have to pay on the interest earned per year base on 8.5%

or Should deposit one 30 lac fix deposit or 2 fix deposit in individual bank like 15 lack each.

This is a Good time to invest Your 25% money into FD, 25% money into SIP of Mutual Funds & 50% into Share market and keep on churn your Portfolio after every 10-15 days
