Would you please add an 'ANNUALIZED RETURN' column In your FD Interest Rate List so that customer can easily FIND Which FD Rate is the Best AMONG ALL.

Thanks,

Whgich one is adviceable:

1) To place FD in a bank without premature withdrawal penalty with 9.5% interest or

2) With the bank offering 9.75% interest but with a penalty of 1% for pre-mature withdrawal?

FIRST OF ALL THANKS TO YOU FOR YOUR VALUABLE OPINION ON BANK FDs.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT IF I MAKE A FD FOR 8 YRS AND ASK THE INTEREST TO BE ADDED TO MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH AND THEN USE THAT MONTHLY AMOUNT IN A RECURRING DEPOSIT PLAN FOR THE SAME 8YEARS, WILL I GET MORE RETURN IN THIS CASE OR SHOULD I STICK TO THE ROUTINE FD PLAN WHERE I GET THE INTEREST AND THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT AFTER THE MATURITY PERIOD?IN WHICH CASE THE RETURN WILL BE HIGHER PROVIDED THAT THE INTEREST RATE IS SAME BOTH FOR THE FD AND RECURRING DEPOSIT FOR 8YRS.
