Andhra Bank
Andhra Bank was founded by the eminent freedom fighter and a multifaceted genius, Dr.Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya. The Bank was established on 20th November 1923 and started dealings on 28th November 1923. Banks all branches are computerized and well interconnected under Cluster Banking Solution and are providing Any Branch Banking. Bank has introduced Real Time Gross Settlement, Facility and National Electronic Fund Transfer facility in 680 Branches. The bank entered in credit card segment in 1981. Bank deals in deposit schemes, retail loans, agriculture loans, corporate banking and NRI banking.
Bank is offering services through a network of 1366 branches, 68 Extension Counters and 38 Satellite Offices. Bank has 656 ATMs network spread over 21 states and 2 union territories as at the end of March 2008, of which 3 are Mobile ATMs and two with Biometric access. Bank also has ATM sharing arrangements with several banks including SBI group, IDBI Bank, UTI bank, HDFC bank, Indian bank and other National Financial Network Switch. Bank has opened a representative office in Dubai in May, 2006 and has received permission from Reserve bank of India for opening of Representative Offices at New Jersey (U.S.A).
