| The Catholic Syrian Bank Ltd. was established on 26the November 1920 at Thrissur. On 1st January, 1921 bank started its operations in Kerala. In 1964-65, The Catholic Syrian Bank Ltd took over the liabilities and assets of five small/medium sized banks in Kerala which failed to function. In August 1969, under the Act 1934 bank was included in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India and in 1975 attained the status of "A" Class Scheduled Bank. The bank offers wide range of products and services in the segments of insurance, deposits-fixed deposit, CSB Students Support Savings Scheme, family welfare, Car loan, home loan, Trade & industry, etc, International money transfer. |
