The Thane Janata Sahakari Bank Ltd (TJSB) entered into the cooperative field in the year 1972 and has since then evolved to a multi state scheduled cooperative bank today.
The bank runs in a network of 52 branches and 1 extension counter spread mainly across Maharashtra.
The bank has successfully implemented core banking solution (CBS). It has also developed other tech savvy channels to reach out to the customer like ATM, Internet, Mobile etc. The bank has a network of 55 ATMs across Thane, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune & Nashik.
The bank is the first in the cooperative sector to install cheque depository machines at 42 branches. It has also put into place real time gross settlement (RTGS) transactions.
The bank has also entered into alliance with other banks so as to make more than 60000 ATMS accessible to its customers.
TJSB is first Bank in the country to introduce Automated Cheque Issuance Machine which enable Customers to take Personalised Cheque Book 24 X 7. |
