State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur offers three types of savings account – Savings bank account, Silver savings account and Suraksha savings account.
The Savings bank account is easy to operate and has no hidden charges with low minimum balance requirement. Students who are above 10 years can open accounts in their own names. Bank gives a cheques book with 25 leaflets free of cost per annum. Silver savings account can be opened singly or jointly. Bank offers free accidental insurance for Rs 1lakh for first year. The accountholder gets ATM cum Debit card and 25 leaflets cheque book under this account. Suraksha savings account is a special account under which the bank offers Life Insurance and Medi Claim Insurance on nominal premium and other concessions. The minimum quarterly average balance requirement is Rs 50,000 and the bank charges Rs 100 per quarter on the non-maintenance of minimum quarterly average balance. Under this account, bank gives 50 leaflets cheque book free in a year. |
