Introductory Rate
The APR applied for a specific introductory period, which can range from 3 to 18 months. The intro rate is lower than the regular APR, and in some cases it can be 0 which makes the credit card a 0 intro rate credit card. After the introductory period is over the credit card rate switches to the regular APR.
