The Indian operations of Citi Group, Citi India has appointed five senior executives. Amongst them include the head of strategy and head of human resource (HR). Anuratna Chadha has been appointed as the head of strategy along with the responsiblity of microfinance business. Chadha was earlier heading Citi's private bank in India. The private bank of Citi would now be the responsibility of Tashwinder Singh. The new country HR for India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is Stephen Cronin. Cronin was warlier working as Citi's HR head for Japan. Other new appointments include Piyush Agrawal who has been appointed as risk head, Institutional Clients Group, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Agrawal would be replacing Jose Joseph who in turn would be shifting base to New York to become the head of technology, media and telecom team. Prior to the new post, Agrawal was working in Citi's Global Risk Oversight organisation in New York. The new legal head will now be Sandip Beri and Munish Nagpal would be leading the legal division of Citigroup Global Markets India. There has been a lot of change in the management structure of the bank after Mark Robinson quit in March, 2010. The bank had last appoitned Rahul Soota as head of retail and commercial banking.
