Foreign lender, Citibank has appointed Anand Selva as head of consumer banking division of the bank in India. Selva is presently working as head of consumer banking of China operations of the lender.

With his appointment in India, Selva would replace N Rajashekharan, current head of consumer operations in India.

Selva's appointment comes after he portrayed commendable performance during his tenor in China.

The bank has been in news since quite some time due to the alleged cases of fraud on it.
