HCL Infosystems has entered into partnership with Ernakulam District Co-operative Bank for providing HCL ME Laptops, with 0% interest. As per the agreement, account holders of the bank will be offered the scheme who can avail 100% financing without having to pay any interest. The loan will be given with maximum repayment period of 24 months. Government employees will be allowed to avail the loan without any guarantee while others have to provide atleast one guarantor. The offer will be available across all branches of the bank. Speaking on the partnership Mr. J V Ramamurthy, President and COO, HCL Infosystems said, "It has always been our endeavour to see a PC in every household even in the remotest parts of the country. In our commitment to sustain and support the cause of widespread PC adoption, we have today entered into a strategic tie-up with Ernakulam District Co-operative Bank and we are confident that our association will give immediate benefits to the potential buyers.
