South based public sector lender, Indian Bank has set up its 1904th branch in Madurai. Along with this, the lender has also set up its 1181st ATM.

This marked the inauguration of the 30th branch of the bank in the district. The branch was inaugurated by district collector Mr U.Sagayam.

General manager of the bank, Mr Arivanandham said that the bank is planning to carry forward its e lounge facility for ATM cardholders.

He also said that the bank is focussing sincerely on its financial inclusion plans and it aims to attain complete success in the program by September 2012.
