Delhi based, Barclays Wealth India has appointed Maneesh Mittal as its new Vice-President.

The press release by the bank said Mittal will report to Sunit Jain, Director of Barclays Wealth India.

Mittal was earlier working with Kotak Wealth. His job responsibility there included leading a team of ten private bankers across four states in north India. He has an experience of thirteen years in the financial services industry.

As of now Barclays Wealth has seven senior private client advisors in the Indian capital. The firm further expects to make more addition in the team in the coming few months.

Recently the Barclays Investments & Loans (BILL) has been asked to seek RBI view on whether to include a number of proposed activities under the allowed 18 non-banking finance company (NBFC) activities.
