Rajiv Nayar appointed as Citi's head of capital markets origination

Citi has announced the appointement of Rajiv Nayarr as head of Capital Markets Origination (CMO) for its Indian operations.

Nayar would be responsible for leading the team which aids in origination and execution of debt and equity transactions for the Indian clientele' of Citi.

He would be reporting to Ken Poon who is the head of Asia Pacific Capital Market Origination and Rajiv Kapoor who is the head of global banking of Indian operations of the bank.

Kapoor was appointed as head of global banking operations of the bank around two months back.

Rajiv is currently working as head of Citi's Capital Management Group within Global Banking for Asia Pacific. His present responsibilities include management and deployment of capital for institutional clients in the region as well as oversight of debt transactions for Global Banking within the region.
