India's largest lender, State Bank of India has inaugurated its new branch in the city at MLA Colony, Banjara Hills. This branch would be SBI's 14,873rd branch in the country. Banjara Hills is the up market area of the city; the new branch will be servicing the banking needs of HNIs, industrialists, parliamentarians, ministers and legislators. Chief General Manager of State Bank of India, Mr. Rakesh Sharma said that the branch would provide services such as advances including car loans and home loans, besides encouraging small and medium enterprises with products such as current accounts, cash pickup and leasing of rentals. Mr. Sharma said, "The branch will be providing focused customer care".
