Total business of SBT touches Rs 1 lakh crore

Public sector lender, State Bank of Travancore has touched Rs 1 lakh crore level in total business as reported at the end of Q3 of this fiscal.

Managing director of the bank, Mr Pradeep Kumar said that the bank has performed commendably in such challenging environment and has been able to constantly maintain as well as improve its profitability.

The net profit of the bank for Q3 has amounted to Rs 176.01 crore which is a 6.7% rise from the figures last year.

The net interest income of the bank has also increased by 24.77% to Rs 464.15 crore in the same period.
