Wealth mgmt clients of Credit Suisse get new offerings

Wealth management clients of Credit Suisse India, the Swiss financial services provider will be offered a new range of products under the name of Lombard Loan products.

The new products come under Credit Suisse’s steps to strengthen its hold in India and compete in the dynamic Indian market.

Credit Suisse's core offering will include both lending on single stock as well as on diversified portfolios including equities, mutual fund units, fixed deposits and structured products, the release said.

Credit Suisse's Market Leader India, Rajan Sehgal, said "Credit Suisse is committed to delivering the highest quality services to our clients in India. We believe that this launch represents a landmark in Credit Suisse's expansion in India, one of the bank's key growth markets."

Credit Suisse's Head of Wealth Management in India, Puneet Matta, said "we are pleased to be able to expand our offering to our local clients who have increasingly sophisticated needs. They will benefit substantially from this more comprehensive product offering derived from securities backed lending."
