Private sector lender YES Bank has appointed Mr Asit Oberoi as Senior President and Chief Operating Officer.

The bank said in a release that Oberoi's responsibilities would include the complete look after of operations as well as delivery of services of the bank.

He has a banking career spanning 20 years. He has worked with major finance players like Fidelity International, Standard Chartered Bank, ANZ Grindlays Bank and Bank of America, said the statement.
