Private sector lender Yes Bank is aiming on increasing its branch count to 750 in the coming four years. Out of these, 15-20% of the count would be focused to be opened in Southern part of India. This implies around 150 of the bank's branches would be opened in South. "The metro centres are likely to have over 30 branches each in the next few years," Mr R. Ravichander, Group President - Business Development (South), YES Bank said. Yes Bank currently has a branch count of 214 across 164 cities. Its ATM count tolls to over 250. The bank plans to increase its total business from Rs 36000 crore in 2009-10 to Rs 1.5 lakh crore by 2015. "We want our retail business to be 40 per cent of our overall business by 2015," Ravichander said. |
