American Express has added a new corporate credit card to its repertoire. The leading private bank has announced the launch of platinum card targetting mainly the top management of organizations.

This card would broaden the corporate offering of the company and will add to the existing two corporate credit cards from the company - the Gold Card, and entry level Green Card.

Launch of the 'Corporate Platinum Card' has come 11 years after the company's last launch- the Gold Card. The card will offer various benefits to its elite customers. Apart from top level corporate executives, the company will also be targetting owners of SMEs.

For the Corporate Platinum Card, Amex has tied up with car rental companies, hotels and airlines to provide world class services to the cardholder.

The card provides an air accident cover of Rs. 5 crore, discounts on business class tickets, preferential rates on tickets, upgradation of tickets and complimentary tickets. Other benefits that come with the card include access to over 600 VIP lounges across 100 countries and a health insurance cover of $ 25,000 including hospitalization.
