Private sector lender IndusInd Bank has appointed Anil Ramachandran as its head of credit card segment.

The bank is gearing up to bring out its range of credit cards and Ramachandran has already started working in the process.

Prior to joining IndusInd, he was handling the credit card business of Deutsche Bank's Indian operations. He has also worked with Citibank in many senior positions within the credit card segment.

"With Anil Ramachandran joining the Bank, we will be in a position to launch the credit card business in the immediate future and add value to the existing bouquet of products and services," IndusInd Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Romesh Sobti said.
