An army Subedar, KK Pathak, was robbed of Rs. 85,000 in Fatehgung branch of State Bank of India in Vadodara.

The person was robbed of by three persons while he was depositing money, said the police. The three managed to escape. The theft happened when the Subedar was busy filling up the form. He had kept the bag carrying the cash beside him.

Pathak told the police that he saw three boys in the bank when he came to deposit the money but they had disappeared. He suspects those three to have stolen his money.

When he came out of the bank, he noticed a boy standing near the tea-stall. He suspects the boy to be one of the three that he saw in the bank.

Police officials guessed that the robbers must have seen Pathak carrying a huge sum of money and must have followed him to the bank.
