Bharti Wal-Mart Pvt Ltd has collaborated with Kotak Mahindra Bank to launch ‘Kotak Best Price Business Card', an exclusive B2B, co-branded "business card" for the registered members of Bharti Wal-Mart's self-service, 'Best Price Modern Wholesale' stores.

The card will enable the members to make convenient credit purchases. Quoting a company official, "It expects 50,000-65,000 business owners to become members of the members-only stores in Punjab and all such members would be eligible to apply for the business card." The card can be used only in the best price modern stores.

Subrat Pani, business head, Kotak Credit Cards, said, "We are delighted to partner with Bharti Wal-Mart for this B2B co-branded card. The Kotak Best Price Business Card promises to bring immense convenience and value for business owners, giving them access to instant credit while allowing them to manage their purchases to meet growing demand from their customers. This tie-up provides us a great opportunity to add value to Best Price Modern Wholesale members in geographies where their stores will operate."

Customer support for the card members includes dedicated "financial services helpdesk" inside the stores and "phone help". Besides this, stores have ATM machines installed, which would enable the customers to access account information and withdraw funds.

Bharti Wal-Mart opened its first cash & carry store - 'Best Price Modern Wholesale' in Amritsar (Punjab) exclusively for the business owners, like hoteliers, restaurant owners, caterers, fruit and vegetable resellers, kiranas, offices, institutions, including other retail storeowners.
