Citibank India launched its Platinum Select Credit Card on Thursday, February 19th. The card carries a powerful combination of special privileges, priority service and superior protection to the customers.

The card offers a best-in-class rewards program with superior earn rates, low interest rates, a service platform devoted exclusively to its cardholders and superior security and fraud covers.

Sandeep Bhalla, Business Manager, Cards, Citi India, said, "Recent research has revealed that a strong majority of Indians believe that money can't buy happiness, ranking peace of mind, good health and a happy family life over money. It is such decisive insight that has contributed to the design of the Citibank Platinum Select proposition. Each element of the package is carefully selected to make customers feel indulged. We are confident that the bouquet of preferential privileges, priority service and superior protection will make the Platinum Select the card of choice in the customer's wallet."

Citibank in a press release said that initially the card will be launched in New Delhi and Mumbai with an annual fee of Rs 4,000. India is the second country after Taiwan where the bank is offering its Platinum Select Card.

Announcing the launch, Country Business Manager, Global Consumer Group, Citi India, N.
