Credit card scammers arrested in Bangalore

The Bangalore police has hacked a massive scale credit card fraudster gang. The gang had been creating havoc worldwide by hacking into credit card accounts of customers and obtain the details and use it via fake credit/debit card swipes in India.

The gang was operating from Malaysia.

The police has arrested two people in this regard and property amounting to Rs 2 crores has been recovered from them. The arrested are named Jaikumar alias Shyamvel alias Shyam, 39, a resident of Kengeri Main Road, off Mysore Road and Vaseem Pasha, 25, a resident of JJ Nagar, Mysore Road.

The leader of the pack, in Malaysia is yet to be nabbed along with other crew members.

The gang is also thought to have connections with LTTE. "Kumar has admitted to paying some cash to LTTE cadre who used to come to city and collect the amount from him," the police said.
