Dhanlaxmi Bank forays into gift card segment

Private sector lender, Dhanlaxmi Bank has forayed into the gift card segment. The gift cards designed will be acceptable at more than 4.5 lakh points of sale (POS) terminals.

The card is a prepaid one, non reloadable in nature and rupee dominated, informed alternate channels head of the bank, Anand Gupta.

"The launch of the gift card will further strengthen our product suite tailored to meet diverse customer needs" he added.

The minimum loadable amount in the card is Rs 500 followed by increase in multiples of Rs 100 with a ceiling of Rs 50,000.

The bank currently has 275 branches and 454 ATMs across 14 states of India.
