New Delhi: After the Future Group got a nod from RBI to issue credit cards and partnered with ICICI to launch a Future Card, things are expected to change for ICICI Bank Big Bazaar credit card holders. Big Bazaar is also a Future group venture and now with the launch of the Future Card, Future group wants its more than 5 lakh ICICI Bank Big Bazaar credit card holders to migrate to the Future card.

ICICI Bank Big Bazaar credit card offered reward points for shopping at Big Bazaar outlets only, however, Future Card will extend the rewards at all the group's retail outlets namely, Pantaloons, Food Bazaar and Big Bazaar including other stores.

The reward points will definitely be more if the cardholder uses the credit card to shop at Future Group's outlets. Four points for every Rs. 100 spent will be given for such purchases to reward loyalty, while swiping the plastic at other retail locations will earn rewards at 1 points per Rs. 200 spent.

"This migration will however be after obtaining written consent from existing ICICI Bank Big Bazaar credit card holders," this was stated in the draft prospectus by Future Capital Holdings (FCH) for its upcoming IPO.
