Customers shopping for home fashion accessories at Evok stores, with ICICI and HDFC credit cards now do not have to pay interest on credit. Hindware Home Retail Ltd. has tied up with private major ICICI and HDFC in an attempt to better serve its customers.

Under the scheme, customer shopping for home interiors solutions using ICICI or HDFC credit cards will be given interest free credit (under specified terms and conditions).

D K Jairath, COO, Hindware Home Retail said "In this financial meltdown/downturn times, particularly in the retail industry, our tie ups with ICICI Bank and HDFC bank will serve our clients a relaxation in these tough times to keep envisioning their dream homes."

This move marks Evok's first anniversary since its inception in 2008. It would also enable the customers to buy company's various ranges of products including modular kitchens, home furniture and bath products offered by Evok. "The initiative would help to further enhance the reach of Evok and is an attempt to meet the day-to-day interior needs of customers." Jairath said.

The company also plans to open fifty such outlets across the country by 2012-13.
