HDFC Bank and Yatra.com ink strategic alliance

Electronic travel solutions provider Yatra.com has entered into an alliance with the second largest private sector lender of the country, HDFC Bank. The alliance is said to be a move by both entities to increase their customer base.

"The alliance will expand Yatra.com's customer base by reaching out to prospective leisure and business travellers," Yatra.com said.

As per the agreement, credit card holders of HDFC Bank will be able to obtain 20% discount on all domestic air tickets with maximum amount of Rs 500 as discount on base fare.

Also customers who make domestic holiday bookings through yatra.com will also receive 20% discount upto a maximum limit of Rs 1000.

"With this new alliance we aim to further strengthen our relationship with our customers and become the most favourable choice of travel service for them," Yatra.com Head (Marketing and Strategic Relations) Pratik Mazumder said.

"This festive season we are offering exclusive deals on our credit cards and partnering with Yatra.com will help us ensure that our customers get the best deals for their Travel & Holiday plans," HDFC Bank Senior Vice President (Credit Card Product & Portfolio) Rajanish Prabhu said.
