ICICI introduces an interactive banking service

The largest private lender, ICICI Bank takes a step to ease services for its customers. The bank has joined with Dish TV to launch its latest interactive banking service, ICICIATIVE.

The new service will enable subscribers to access information on the bank's products and services from their home. ICICIACTIVE will also provide Dish TV viewers information about various types of ICICI Bank accounts and deposits.

Information regarding ICICI's different products, EMI on loans, eligibility criteria, documentation, time required for processing a request, ATM/branch details would be easily availed by the Dish TV subscribers. Further, ICICI Bank customers will get this feature at zero cost.

ICICI Bank Retail Liabilities Head Maninder Juneja said, "The association with Dish TV will enable us to further extend our reach and offer latest information to the customers."

ICICI Bank also said that it is open to have similar kind of understanding with other DTH service providers.

Dish TV is India's first direct to home entertainment service. It is an Essel Group initiative that provides a satellite broadcasting service to users in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and parts of South East Asia. It is a commercial service, and offers a variety of plans. Currently it has a total of 188 National and International TV channels and 20 radio stations. In addition to serving consumers, DishTV also offers mobile service for cars.
