Public sector lender Indian Bank has come up with yet another new offering in the debit card segment. The latest launch by the bank happens to be a platinum master debit card.

CMD of the bank , Mr TM Bhasin quoted that card is a step ahead from the previous cards of the bank in terms of features.

The cash withdrawal limit in the card has been set as Rs 50,000 per day as against the previous limit of Rs 25,000.

Limit in terms of transactions at point of sale (POS) terminals has also been increased to Rs 1 lakh from Rs 25,000 earlier.

Mr Bhasin added that the card being a signature card would not need PIN to be entered at POS terminals.

All old debit card holders can upgrade their cards to the new one at their discretion.
