Private sector lender, ING Vysya Bank has introduced internet banking system called 'ING Coverage' for its wholesale customer segment. Through this platform, all payment and cash management requirements of customers will be looked after.

The platform is unique in the fact that it offers a combined view of group accounts held by the customer in other banks across different countries too.

Using the platform, companies can access all their accounts as well as accounts of their group companies. The bank is already in discussion with other banks too to enable this facility.

ING coverage is a part of ING Vysya‘s payments and cash management service, which is a focus area, said Mr Janak Desai, Country Head, Wholesale Banking.

"Cash management and payments is an important contributor to our fee income. It also allows us the opportunity to participate in treasury management activities of corporates," he said.
