Jet Airways has declared a tie up with SBI Card wherein customers would now be able to book airline tickets through their portal using the card option.

SBI Card comes as a joint venture by State Bank of India, the country's largest lender and GE Capital.

As per the offer, SBI credit card holders would be able to select an option which would enable them to convert their ticket purchases done through the company's portal into a 0% EMI having a tenor of 6 months.

According to Jet Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Sudheer Raghavan, this tie up comes as yet another addition in the travel category of cards which facilitates economical and cost effective air travel for families.

"This scheme will help a family to undertake visits to tourist spots and encourage domestic tourism," Raghavan said.

"We are delighted to partner with Jet Airways and offer SBI Cardholders an affordable travel option. This offering is in line with our focus on the travel segment as it enables air travelers a unique opportunity to fly now and pay later without any additional costs," SBI Cards & Payment Services Pvt Ltd's CEO, Abhay Kumar Singh, said.
