Private sector lender, Dhanlaxmi Bank has launched mobile banking facility in the country. The service will now facilitate customers to access banking amenities any time through their mobile phones. Using the service, customers of the bank can check their account balance, transfer funds and also view history of transactions. Request for check book and track status can also be made through mobile. Other facilities available would include stop cheque request, locate branch and ATMs and receive account alerts. Amitabh Chaturvedi, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Dhanlaxmi Bank spoke on the launch saying that, "The launch of mobile banking is in line with our philosophy of providing our customers comprehensive financial products in ways which are both convenient and secure by using the best and latest technologies. Deployment of mobile banking will enable us to enhance our service offerings to our customers by providing them an additional channel to access their accounts." Anand Gupta, Head, Alternate Channels, Dhanlaxmi Bank said: "With this launch, Dhanlaxmi Bank will offer its customers an additional channel for banking, thereby strengthening its existing comprehensive array of alternate banking channels like ATMs, debit cards and internet banking." Keeping due focus on rising phishing scams and frauds, the bank has launched the system with enhanced security features and end-to-end encryption and secured communication.
