New credit card launched by HSBC with MakeMyTrip

Leading foreign sector lender in the country, the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) has launched a new  co-branded credit card. The card is launched with MakeMyTrip in two categories - Signature Credit Card and Platinum Credit Card.

The card not only offers travel related benefits to the customers but they can also avail unique offers on shopping as well.

As registration benefits, the customer were will be offered domestic air tickets or MakeMyTrip vouchers. On shopping at selected outlets or making purchases from MakeMyTrip.com the customers can earn accelerated reward points.

The head of consumer assets at HSBC India, Mr. Manish Sinha said, "HSBC has always strived to offer its range of customers a broad spectrum of dynamic product offerings and banking solutions. The HSBC- MakeMyTrip Credit Card is an initiative that provides customers attractive rewards program and freedom of choice through its use."

The Chief Financial Officer at MakeMyTrip, Mr. Rajesh Magow said, "Travel is one of the fastest growing sectors in India and with growing popularity of online transactions and utility associated with plastic money, there appears to be a latent opportunity to forge a strategic alliance with HSBC, which is one of the major banking player in the country. The HSBC- MakeMyTrip Card allows all customers to avail of exclusive travel deals, shopping offers and also avail of incentives on every transaction they make."

1. Hi All,

Though hsbc makemytrip card offer all the benefit mentioned above but even after verifying all the documents and cibil record verification they decline the card without telling good reason.
Its a waste of time and energy to collect all the documents required to apply for card and in the end you get to know that your card is declined. I am so disappointed and unhappy. Dont waste your time and energy for this card.
