PNB's new launch: 'PNB NRI REMIT-India'

The second largest public sector lender of the country, Punjab National Bank has launched an online remittance facility for NRIs known as PNB NRI REMIT-India'. The facility would permit sending money from US to India.

The bank has launched this new scheme in tie up with he Bank of New York Mellon, New York.

The bank has also come up with RET AD. This is an online reporting system designed for those bank branches which have authority to deal in foreign exchange.

This facility allows bank branches to report all foreign exchange transactions, sale or purchase.

The bank has also launched a World Travel Card in association with MasterCard. This card is available in three currencies--Dollar, Euro and Pound.
