Recently, the Mumbai police caught three people who were shopping with Shah Rukh Khan’s missing credit card.

The incident occurred at Shoppers Stop, where an alert salesperson noticed that the transaction slip was signed by Vinay Vijay Tambe , one of the three people, but the name on the slip was of Shah Rukh’s. The sales person called ICICI Bank the issuer of the card, to check the authenticity of the card and also informed the police who caught the crooks red handed.

The three culprits, Vinay Vijay Tambe(22), James Paul Perumal (28) and Shekhar Jadhav(44) were remanded to police custody, by a local court.

Prakash Landge, senior police inspector of Mulund police station said that it was still not clear whether Shah Rukh lost the card or if it was stolen from him. According to the arrested men they had found the card in a bag on the road in Santa Cruz.

The police have asked the ICICI Bank to furnish statements of all the transactions on the actor’s card in the past few weeks. They want to find out if any other transactions have been made with the card after it went missing.

Shah Rukh Khan who is out of India right now has agreed to co-operate with the police in this matter.
