Thirteen new branches expected from KVG Bank

Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB) is planning to set up 13 more branches in north Karnataka in order to cover more and more customer segments.

The announcement regarding this plan was made by KVGB chairman K P Muralidharan. He said out of the 13 branches, six would be opened by end of September and the remaining would be made operational by December end.

He also said that as on June 30, total business of the bank amounted to Rs 7,333 crore with a deposit of Rs 4,384 crore and advance of Rs 2,946 crore.

This indicates a 21 % growth in business of the bank as compared to figures that were accredited last year.
