With opening of new branches Pragathi Gramin Bank attains landmark

Bellary based regional rural bank, Pragathi Gramin Bank has completed opening of 32 branches in 8 districts including Kolar in the region. With this, the total branch count of the bank has touched the mark of 400.

The Chairman of the bank, Mr. M. G. Bhat said, "In short period of bank's existence, business has touched Rs 9,000 crore, covering a clientele base of over 37 lakh."

He also said, "With today's branch opening, the bank's total branch tally has touched 400. This has been done to reach out to more people and more areas, bank opened two branches each at Bellary and Kolar, five branches at Chitradurga, Raichur and Davanagere, three branches at Chikkaballapur, six at Koppal and four at Shimoga."
