Andhra Bank launches new deposit scheme

Private sector lender, Andhra Bank has come up with another fixed deposit scheme. The bank has introduced 'Pattabhi Plus'- a scheme having tenor of 500 to 1000 days offering interest of 9.1%.

Further the bank has also revised interest rates of some of the existing deposits. Deposits with maturity of six months to less than 1 year will now bear interest of 8% as against 7.5% for amount less than Rs 50 lakhs.

Interest rates for deposits of 1 year to less than 2 years have been revised to 8.5% and to 8.6% for those of tenor between 3 years to 5 years.

Senior citizens will be offered 0.50% added interest on all deposits.
