Andhra Bank to open new branch in Madurai

Public sector lender Andhra Bank is planning to set up another branch in Madurai.

The new branch would be set up at KK Nagar, Madurai.

Deputy general manager of the bank, Mr C. Balasubramanyam said that the bank has achieved 100% growth in the last two years from Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,64,000 crore in terms of total business.

He added that the bank has bagged awards like Best Public Sector Bank by the Banker's Club, ‘Best Bank Performs in Key Parameters by CAMEL, ‘Best Bank' by Business World and ‘Best Bank for Quality Asset' by Business Today too.
