Bank of Maharashtra introduces 'Swashakti' for women

Public sector lender, Bank of Maharashtra has initiated a program named 'Swashakti'. The program has been introduced especially for the empowerment of the female workforce of the bank.

The program was initiated in the BoM office at LokMangal, on 11of November.

The event contained a lecture from Vrushali Ranbhir, lecturer at Wadia College. Ranbhir's lecture focused on women empowerment.

Swashakti will act as a platform for the female staff to interact in a forum , express their views and share ideas and develop an effective problem solving mechanism.

Also, a committee will be formed at the head office as well as in the regional offices comprising a chairperson, secretary and two-three members.
