Private sector lender, Catholic Syrian Bank has come with three new products catering to the requirements of the NRI customer segment.

Speaking at the launch of the products in Dubai, managing director of the bank, Mr V. P. Iswardas said that the NRI investments of the bank had not been witnessing much of improvement in the recent times. This is why the bank has introduced these products.

The new products include CSB Insta Remit- an instant fund transfer facility, CSB NRE Plus- which would provide higher returns to NRIs for their deposits and CSB Support Line- which is a personal banking product.

‘Funds would be transferred electronically. Once the credit is given to the account of the beneficiary, the bank would send an SMS to the recipient,' he said speaking about the tie up of the bank with 17 exchange companies in the Middle East for offering fund transfer facilities.
