Corporation bank revises interest rates for NRE deposits

Public sector lender, Corporation Bank has announced an revision in NRE deposit rates. The new rates have come into effect from April 01, 2011.

Interest rates for deposits of tenor ranging from 1 year to less than 2 years now stand at 2.53% as against 2.54% earlier.

Deposits of 2 years to less than 3 years tenor will earn the depositor an interest of 2.71% as compared to 2.66% earlier.

Maturities of 3 years to 10 years tenor will fetch interest of 3.25% as against 3.19% to the depositor.
