The Indian customer very often believes in the concept of 'lucky numbers.' To cash out on this human psychology private sector lender, Development Credit Bank Limited (DCBL) has announced to offer its premium customers, bank accounts with number of their choice.

The service seems to have touched the right nerves of the customers as the premium segment is now eagerly changing the last six digits of their account numbers.

"The service is free and available to both current and savings bank account holders, and existing and new customers," DCBL's vice president and head of marketing Gaurav Mehta said.

By premium customer segment, the bank refers to those customers who have minimum quarterly balance of half a million rupees.
