Deposit rates hiked by Andhra Bank

Public sector lender Andhra Bank has announced a hike in interest rates of its fixed deposits in the range of 25-100 bps.

The revised rates have come into effect on August 08, 2011.

Deposits having tenor of 46 days to 90 days will now have interest of 6%.

For the 91 days to 179 days deposit, the interest has risen to 7.25%.
