Development and growth of BMB bank

The women oriented bank of the country – Bhartiya Mahila Bank has shown a immense growth in its business with in a period of seven months. In the first quarter of 2014-15, BMB has almost doubled the deposits with over 1,500 account holders in the only branch in the Ahmadabad.

Ahmedabad too got its first BMB branch along with seven other cities in the country. It has been reported by the bank officials that the exclusive offers by the bank and the attractive schemes like loan for opening beauty parlour and kitchen modernization along with traditional house, car and education loans and lower interest rates on loans, have helped the bank to do so well and furnish the business in the banking industry.

The bank has been continuously organizing campaigns across the country to create awareness and promote the banking facilities for the women. Last month BMB and trade body Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed up a MOU to address the finance requirements of women entrepreneurs for technological up-gradation, marketing, diversification in their businesses.
