Fixed deposit rates raised by Syndicate Bank

Public sector lender Syndicate Bank has announced a revision in interest rates of its fixed deposits.

Deposits having a tenor of 1 year to less than 2 years will have interest rate of 9.55% now.

The bank has introduced an altogether new slab of 250-269 days deposit which will have 9.75% interest associated with it.

The 121-180 days deposit will now have interest of 8% while the interest will be 8.5% for the 181-249 days deposit.

Deposit having tenor of 270-264 days will have interest of 9.6% and 9.5% for the 2 year to less than 3 years deposit.

The 3-5 years deposit will fetch the depositor an interest of 9.25% and the same for 5 years and above to 10 years deposit.
