G D Nadaf appointed as director of SBI

Public sector lender, State Bank of India has appointed G D Nadaf as officer-employee director of the bank.

Nadaf is currently working as deputy manager of the bank in Bangalore. He had joined the bank as cashier in 1972.

He is also General Secretary of the All India State Bank Officers' Federation (AISBOF). He will be in the SBI board for the period of three years.

His presence in the central board of SBI will help the organisation and add value to the discussions, AISBOF said.
