India's leading private sector bank, ICICI Bank, has joined hands with Aircel to launch a facility which will enable customers to perform a variety of financial transactions via their mobile phones like cash deposits, withdrawals and transferring funds to third parties.

The mobile banking facility has been named Mobile Money, and it will be offered on mobile service maintained by Visa. The facility has been enabled to perform several financial services.

The facility was launched yesterday in Tamil Nadu and will soon be introduced in other parts of the country as well.
